SB2 - Headrow House Print Fair

Headrow House Print Fair

There were only 8 stalls participating in this event.
I had a very large table all to myself, it was amazing to be able to fill this table alone. I have created a range of different products over the 3 years at university and they display together nicely.

Unfortunately it wasn't a very profitable event, everybody seemed to be quite stingy with their spending. There also weren't very many people, possibly because the venue is quite hidden and we weren't on the ground floor. You really had to know there was a print fair on, couldn't stumble across it.

Throughout the day, every type of my artwork had been picked up and complimented which was really nice and confidence boosting that I am doing things right and other people like the artwork that I like doing.

I worked out that I made £2 an hour if looking at it like that. That is nothing, literally just pocket money. However, it would be more than if I lazed around all Saturday and the process of displaying my work means that more people will recognise me and my illustration practice - exposure.
